Hill Repeats And A Pineapple Banana Protein Smoothie

pineapple and banana protein smoothie Wow that was a hot bunch of hill repeats on the bike!!!

We are fortunate(?) enough to live right on a corner with an enormous hill that you can climb continuously at a pretty steep grade for a mile before it gives a bit at which time we turn around and zip back down. A perfect set up for hill sprints on foot or bike. The other great thing about our corner is in the other direction it is just about the only flat area I’ve seen in town and it is almost exactly a 1/2 mile look from our driveway down and back… also perfect for speed work. Ohhhhh, how our neighbors wonder about us…..

Today I only had a 30 minute window so did a quick warm up on the bike followed by 3 hill climbs- it was hot, it was hard- and I was glad to see a big fat pineapple on the counter when I came inside.

Pineapple Banana Protein Smoothie

  • Add the Pienapple and Banana to the Blender
  • Pour in 2 cups of Coconut Milk
  • Put in 2 Scoops of Protein Powder
  • Drop in a few ice cubes for an icy beverage and tropical feel…
  • Blend
  • Enjoy, or in my case today, chug a lug, then on with a shower and work:)
