A recipe for Paleo doughnuts that isn't only quick to make and bake, but also contains ingredients that are Paleo diet approved.
  • ¾ Cup (177 g) Almond Butter
  • 6 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons (30 g) Honey
  • ¼ Cup (59 g) Melted Coconut Oil
  • ¼ Cup (59 g) Almond Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons (30 g) Coconut Flour
  • ½ Teaspoon (2.5 g) Baking Soda
  • ½ Teaspoon (2.5 g) Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon (2.5 g) Baking Powder
  • Some flavouring: Cinnamon and Vanilla about 1 Tablespoon (15 g) of both
  1. Ready your oven by preheating it to 350° F (177° C). Have a doughnut pan ready by oiling the pan. If you don’t have a doughnut pan, simply oil a baking tray and set aside.
  2. Mix all the ingredients, starting with the eggs. Whisk the eggs well and slowly add the other ingredients. Make sure there are no lumps in your mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into the doughnut pan. If you don’t have one (like me), shape the mixture into doughnuts on the greased/oiled pan.
  4. Cook the doughnuts in the oven heated to 375° F (191° C) for about 25 minutes.
  5. Once the doughnuts are done, immediately cover them with honey.
  6. You may also roll the honey-covered doughnuts in coconut shreds.
  7. This should make 10-12 doughnuts. Enjoy!
