This is just a quick post on an easy go to lunch, something we keep in our fridge on almost all occasions. I usually go to Whole Foods once or twice a week and get 6 in-store made hot Italian chicken sausages. I also get a jar of Bubbie’s sauerkraut. We either grill or bake the sausages while we are cooking something else. After they’re cool we slice them up so we can portion them out for anything from a small snack to a good sized meal.
Whenever we need a quick bite be it breakfast, lunch, dinner or other, all that we need to do is pull this killer combo out of the fridge and we’re good to go. Bonus, it’s just as good cold as it is hot out of a skillet. I eat it both ways depending upon the day.
